I am interested in any Plumbs especially Bradford ( Christian name) buried in St Gregory's Tredington if anyone could do me a look up. I know there are at least two grave markers for Bradford Plumb . Thanks  Steve

Thanks Victor
The Bradford I mentioned in the first post should have been Blackbourn I have been mixing him up all day sorry. Most of the others very well with the births that I have with a few discrepancies which is to be expected.

I don't suppose that you have the registers for Ettington that is where I think Blackbourne was baptised around 1730.

Thanks again  Steve

Hi Steve,
Sorry, I don't have any further data. You could try the Coventry Family History Society. Family History Societies are a valuable resource, normally manned by volunteers, who know their area, and will often do a free lookup.

The following are from the BMSGH MI's for St Gregory's for PLUMB, mostly repeat of the info supplied above, but a few extra bits which may help;

John, 23rd Sep 1776, age 19

Richard, 26th Apr 1821, age 66
John s/o Richard & Sarah, 15th Nov 1804, age 20
Mary d/o Richard & Sarah, 15th May 1846, age 64

Blackburn, 4th Jun 1809, age 78 of Longdon
Ann h/w, 3rd Aug 1803, age 60
William s/o Blackburn & Ann, 3rd Sep 1827, age 60
Joseph s/o Blackburn & Ann, 23rd Aug 1857, age 52  ???

Thomas, 22nd Apr 1832, age 70
Samuel, 2nd Oct 1845, age 70
Daniel 18th Oct 1852, age 79
Mary 24th Mar 1853, age 79
William, 5th Apr 1854, 62

The date for Joseph seems odd at first glance, I can check it next time I'm there, if it's still legible & if it would be of any help.

Thanks for the info Dee. There are odd dates which do not agree with the ages but with this family they seem to be a bit haphazard with ages so I would not worry about Joseph unless you happen to be there. Thanks again

Just noticed in Victors post that Joseph's age was 92 rather than 52 and that fits in with his birth (roughly), so must just be a transcription error on the MI's.
