Burial of Jane Sophia Wallace at Craigton, 22.2.1908.
Age 30
Two images
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHV-F3ZJ-NK9T?i=760

Is in Q362
Proprietor John Wallace, 39 Elderpark Street
No certificate number, just a "P"

Without a cert number, how to find lair details? Any suggestions?
For a new grave in Feb 1908 it might have otherwise been about here in the register, as with Sarah Webster the proprietor above

Interments March '42 here

Can't find Harriet in 1953 interments.

Great information, thank you!
Wonder what the "P" signifies and also what the different classes of burial? Jane has an "A" class.
Wonder still, where John is!! Would a cremation be noted somewhere else, in case he was cremated and not buried?

You help is always appreciated!

Hi
Have now got the certificate number from the burial of Janet M Wallace in 1929
That was on 5 June, and she was 51 years old
Images here
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHV-J3D4-7N1C?i=429&cat=1305975

So the certificate number is 17118
And we can find the lair details for that cert number in the register mentioned earlier.
Here it is!
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS54-39MY-3?i=305

John Wallace was the owner
There are three burials noted
Jane S Wallace, Janet M Wallace, and Harriet J Paterick in 1958

Harriet's burial here, down towards the bottom, another two images
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS54-M3YD-Y?i=251&cat=1305975

So it appears that John is not in Q362? Sorry about that. Yes, I guess he might have been cremated somewhere perhaps, but we really need a Glasgow expert.
John

Craigton is a Crematorium as well as a Cemetery, so he may well have been cremated there although I would have thought that if the remains were buried, that would have also been noted in the records. In Woodside Cemetery at Woodside Crematorium in Paisley, their historical records state whether cremated remains are buried.
