Glanystwyth Farm, Lower Llanfihangel

Hi,
   My relative, Jonathan Pell, farmed at Glanystwyth Farm, Lower Llanfihangel , as well as being publican of the Belle Vue Hotel in Aberystwyth in the 1870s.  What I would like to find out is
1) where was this farm relative to Aberystwyth (there are several Llanfihangel place names nearby.) The family thinks the farm may have been near Borth.
2) what sort of farming might it have done.

Lower Llanfihangel is situated on the River Ystwyth, south of Aberystwyth.   If you google Glanystwyth Farm you will find a number of hits.   The farming in the area is mixed mainly livestock.   Dairy farming, sheep on the ground away from the river and beef cattle.
