Baptism coincidence?
« on: Saturday 15 March 14 15:37 GMT (UK) »
I have a record of a baptism for a daughter(Margaret) for Thomas(my GFX5) and Mary Ellis from 1786 (Wellington) now being baptised at the same time was a Maurice Ellis son of Maurice and Ann Croxton, surely they have to related? or was there some form of alphabeticall order? Anyone help with this.

Why would they have to be related? I can see that they could be (both called Ellis), but that's a long way from saying they have to be.  Worth following up though, as it may be relevant.
