Searching for Phillips cousins, Aberdare
« on: Thursday 23 June 05 13:42 BST (UK) »
Hi.
My late father had 3 (possibly 4) brothers and a sister. I know that all the brothers are now deceased, not sure about sister. Figure that I must have some cousins out there somewhere! The surname was Phillips and I know the forenames of 3 brothers (Aneurin b.1917, Trevor b.1919 and Dai) and sister (Eileen).
I know that Dai and Aneurin were married, and think that Aneurin had a daughter, but it's difficult to find out any more, as there are no censuses available for the years I'm looking for. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Pam

You could try and get copies of the death certificates of your Uncles.  With a bit of luck, in at least one case the informant would have been a child of theirs (and therefore your cousin) and if so you should get a name and possibly an address.

Thanks Caro.
Now why didn't I think of that?
