     Can any-one please help me .in reading what.this image.says.after.H.GRAY..was always told arrived by himself.was a black slave.released.because .he saved some-one life.do not know the full story.but have is marriage.death records.plus where buried .but forgot had this image.

you need to do a close up of the entry itself, I don,t think anyone will get it from your pic as it is .

well done stg but I still couldn,t make it out so scouted around for the alien arrivals record looked it up but still couldn,t make it out , so did another search using the data from h grays entry but using just gray no initial and it came up with mipes gray  I,m still not convinced it,s right  so tried the 1861 census but can,t find anything there that fits either .
so did h gray stay in Britain ?, can you give us the whole story especially what you know after they landed in eng it may stir something up .

          THANK YOU .for that.am not trying go over old ground.but reason for posting was.a message recieved.a few days ago.that barry gray.my uncle in york.sadly lost is daughter.is line stems from horace gray.as asked in is time of sadness,to do a bit of research.hence finding this item.but cannot remember .if made inquerry.posts were.
 UNITED STATES OOF AMERICA .re  ANDERSON GRAY.
 US.LOOK UP REQUESTS.re HORACE GRAY.
 you should find intresting.also wondered about horace.and only.person who could have told me.barry said.left york.when her sister .gray died.was upset.and was leaving.england.and staying in America.

I can't be sure, but I think what comes after H Gray might be I & Misses Gray, with an old long s.

           Thank you. but can state firmly HORACE GRAY .was not married.but unsure who is mother was..ON MARRIAGE CERT.STATES .Anderson Gray Father.wish knew is mother.also Horice.was also know as HORIS.   later.
