Hello and welcome to Rootschat  :)

Can you give us a date of birth for Samuel Hick?

Do you have the marriage certificate for his daughter Jane? If so,

What was her age? Who witnessed her marriage?

Hi,

Welcome to RootsChat :)

Was Samuel Hick Preacher/ Blacksmith born 1758, Aberford? Is so there is a Family Tree on Anc***** with a lot of information on this man (perhaps it's your tree  :) )

A newspaper article states he had five daughters between 1782 and 1789 (no names)

He was born 20 th September 1758,No I don't have certificate, I have the book by James Everett passed down to me who was George Samuel Hick Watson ,my father. In the preface it is mentioned Robert Hick was Samuels son in law, hence how the name Watson appeared. My cousin lived in Hicks house.  :)
