Uniform/badge and army record enquiry
« on: Sunday 20 April 14 11:06 BST (UK) »
Please can you identify the uniform/badge in this photo.

He is Ernest A (poss Augustus) S (poss. Spry) Pearse, found as Ernest Pearse in the 1911 census as a boarder, (Army Pensioner, aged 38, born Brighton), at 21 Longs Rd, Lake Rd, Landport, Portsmouth.

Is it possible to trace army records for Ernest?  Thanks, Jeff.

Two good conduct badges shows more than seven years (less than 12 years) good conduct.
