Colonel Anthony FRENCH 1831

Hello,
 I am trying to find out more about Colonel Anthony French of Prospect Hill, Galway. He died in December 1831. Any information about his military involvement or his family would be welcome. I know he had at least two sisters, Mary Clare, who was a nun, and Monimia. Children included Eleanor, Margaret, Anthony, Patrick and Elizabeth.
Any information or pointers most welcomed and appreciated.

Do you have his Will? I mentions a son Valentine and daughters Maria and Catherine (as well as Ellenor and Anthony). Also his sister Maria.
