The birth registration, since it was done at the time, rather than his attestation papers filled in years later.

Do you want details of the Moffats or the Caldwells? or both?

Both would be ideal.  Very little info was passed down to my generation about either.  My uncle has a photo of Robert from WWI wearing his uniform and sitting on a horse (I'll need to have him scan that one), but aside from a few names and dates, that's about it.

Have nearly finished tryping up the Moffatt information- just have to type out details for about 20 marriages  :)

Caldwell family details are more scattered among other things in my files so will take a bit longer.
