I would like to have more information on my family in Brecknockshire...

Thomas Pugh and Elizabeth baptised Thomas 1714 at Llanfihangel Nant Bran
Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Pugh ,was buried 16 December 1723
Thomas Pugh was buried 2 February 1728

...
Thomas Pugh 1714 – Nov 23 1777 married Elizabeth Thomas in Aberyscir 9 April 1740. They christened Elizabeth and buried her there in the same year

(William Thomas of Llanfihangel Nant Bran (1743) bequeathed "his beloved daughter Elizabeth Pugh" a shilling in his will. His sons William Thomas and Thomas William were also left a shilling each, the remainder to his wife Jennet Thomas).
...
Thomas Pugh baptised William, January 22 1742; Evan, 9 April 1743; Ann, December 20 1751; Gwen, August 27 1754; Elizabeth, January 16th 1746; and Samuel, May 28 1758. All in Llanfihangel Nant Bran

Thomas Pugh and Edward Powell were Church wardens in Llanfihangel Nant Bran in 1774
Thomas Pugh and Rees Powell were appraisers of Margaret Pritchards inventory in her will of 1756, Llanfihangel Nant Bran

I have traced everyone except William and Samuel. I would like to know if anyone has any information regarding them or the family. They seem to have arrived in Llanfihangel Nant Bran about 1700 because there are no Pughs in the  Llanfihangel Nant Bran or Llandeilo'r Fan Parish Hearth Tax records, circa 1670.

There were Pughs in Merthyr Cynog and Maesmynis about that time, but I can't find a direct relationship

Many thanks to all of you who have helped me piece together this family history...

Cheers,

llanfi  :) :) :) :) :)
