Hi Horsemad I do use Ancestry for research but no longer subscribe,do you know who the person is at all, there are so many Lee families finding the right one is mind boggling.

Thanks for your reply

hi i will have a look for you as its a public tree, i also have the lee family in my tree but do not think were are related. how much do u you know about bertie as i found there marriage on latterday saints, his father being frank lee and her father stephen clark, so they had two children before they married, but none of them seem to be on the 1911 census :) :)

Hi Sharon
Really interested in your message as Frank Lee is also my great-grandfather but I did not know he had a son called Bertie! He "married" my great-grandmother Naomi Brazil and had 8 children with her.  Presumably Bertie was born before this marriage as I have never heard of him - do you know who his mother was and whether he had any brothers and sisters?  This news is really exciting as I have managed to find out quite a lot about Frank Lee - however, I never found a brother called Sylvester.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Waynus James

Hi Paula
Thanks for coming back to me.  Sorry but can't help as didn't know that Frank's brother changed his name.  However, Leonard's mother was called Maria so he could have named his daughter after her.  We have only found Leonard on the census up to 1891 aged 21 still with his parents so he may have changed his name after this date which is why we couldn't find him later on.  Sorry can't help more with this brother.  However, would you have or do you know anyone who has any photos of this family especially Frank - please get back to me soon.
Best wishes
Waynus
