Looking for Percy Arthur Boyce b 1st qtr 1880 at Yarmouth, married Elizabeth or Bessie Parmenter Church 1st qtr 1905 there, she was b 23 Jul 1882 there and she died 4th qtr 1967 at Norwich Outer.
They had 3 children, Bessie b Chatham c1906, Percy bc1910 at Llandudno, Carnarvon, and Horace bc1911 at Manchester, Lancashire.
The family are all on the 1911 census at 2 Lilian Street, Longsight, Manchester, I've traced Percy junior and Horace but unable to find Percy senior or Bessie after 1911.

Who registers Bessie's death? isit her husband? or is she described as widow? That will narrow down Percy seniors death.

Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Don't know, I haven't got the actual certificate, only the record from Ancestry.

FreeBMD have this birth:  December 1905 Medway Bessie Frances E Boyce vol 2a page 738, and another birth for Bessie Boyce Medway September 1906 vol 2a page 778
There is a death for Bessie FE Boyce in Leicester Sept 1916 vol 7a page 219, who must be Bessie Frances but no obvious marriages or deaths for Bessie Boyce. Perhaps she remained single and lived beyond 1983 in which case her death won't be on their database. There are marriages but those Bessies have a middle initial and aren't anywhere that obviously links to your Bessie.
I have Yarmouth Boyces in my tree, in particular Mary Ann Boyce 1849-1927 and her father Moses Boyce born abt 1815.
Any connection with your Boyces? Jan

Re Percy senior-the only death on FreeBMD that would equate with his dob is Percy Boyce, Dec 1957 Barnet, aged 78 Vol 5a page 863.
The family obviously moved around a great deal which makes it hard to be certain. Percy Arthur Boyce was not a unique name-I've found four of them and more than 30 Percy*Boyces!
it's the dreaded fashion in names-at some point between 1872 and 1926 almost every Boyce presented with their dear little baby boy must have said "let's call him Percy!"

Hi Jan,
It is a mystery still, I guess the Barnet death could be as near as we can get, they did seem to move about a lot!
My Boyces' are tied into my Horth/Church family and I have no others unfortunately otherwise we could've compared the families.
Thank you for your help.
