Joseph Harlow
« on: Wednesday 28 May 14 18:50 BST (UK) »
I have a Joseph Harlow who was born in Roscommon, Ireland in 1889.  In the 1911 census he was a farm labourer living at Pentwyn Farm, Lantwit Vardre, Glamorganshire.  I have searched for a marriage, can find nothing, have searched to see if he emigrated, can find nothing, have searched casualties of WWII, can find nothing - basically hit a brick wall.  Can anybody find out what happened to Joseph after 1911 - he's driving me mad!  Many thanks

I doubt it as he was the youngest of the family and I think 2 of his brothers and 1 sister took over their farm in Ireland - I can't imagine there would be anything back in Ireland for him.  I could be wrong but I would find it odd that he would return.

I can't see another Joseph Swinton in 1901 or 1911 that fits that marriage, so looks promising.
