Hi keyboard86
Thank you for your quick reply.  It does not seem to be my Charlotte.  Charlotte was married to a Robert and had 2 children christened in Berkshire 1818 and 1820 but I am not sure where Robert and Charlotte were born.  I have a Robert death 1872 and Charlotte in 1855 in Wokingham but not knowing the ages of deaths this may not be them.  Robert was a carpenter in the Royal Military College and a soldier in the staff corps which means that they could have travelled a lot.  The children could have been born any where in England but christened in Berkshire.
Thanking you

It would appear that the 1855 death of Charlotte Wright is not your Charlotte as there is a burial for a Charlotte Wright on 31st March 1855 at Wokingham All Saints and this Charlotte was an infant. There is a burial for a Charlotte Wright in Wokingham Baptist in Nov 1851 but no age is given.

I looked far and wide for your Charlotte Wright in 1851 last night and the truth is that she does not show up too readily at all.Now whether it is relevant or not there is a death of a Charlotte Wright in the Newbury District of Berkshire in the Jan/Feb/Mar quarter of 1851,Volume 9,Page 159.

If it's any help, burial for that Charlotte is:

St Nicolas Church Newbury Berkshire , 11th Jan 1851, Charlotte Wright, aged 67.

When/where was Robert born?

If you are talking about the Robert Wright Death reg 1872 Wokingham age 75 in Census he is born Scotland c 1797. Married to a younger Wife, some Children born in India.
Living in Shinfield, Berks
RG10/1287/74/15
Someone has corrected this Families name to Wight.
1861 they are under Wight.
Roberts Occp is hard to make out in both Census.
A Tree has him marrying Rosa Harriette FORD 1838 in India

So maybe not yours either.

1841 has a Charlotte Wright in Newbury with William/Isabella Rangers and Family.
She is the one likely to have been buried Jan 1851 as age is good.

1841 Census, Newbury,
Charlotte Wright 45
William Rangers    35
Isabella Rangers 30
Charlotte Rangers 6
George Rangers    2
Sarah Rangers    6

What are the names of the Children you have found Christenings for in Berks to Robert/Charlotte?

Trish :)

Hi Trish
The names of the children for Robert and Charlotte are Henry and Hercules as given to me by Little Nell 12/02/2010.  This is how long I have been researching Robert.  The death age given by candrjm  as 67 years brings her birth to 1784.  I wonder if I am in the right County for them.
Thanks
