Memorial - Almondsbury Church

Is there anyone living close to the Church in Almondsbury who could check a memorial for me please.  I have a photo of what is described as the tomb of Edward Veale and his wife Catherine with their effigies side by side, but I cannot see the inscription to confirm this is accurate.  Edward died in 1577.

I would be very grateful if someone could check this  for me please.

I had a look this this morning but had no joy. I hope you do better!

The earliest ones I could read were in the 1700s. I went into the church hoping to find someone who could point me in the right direction, but no luck there either.

It would be really helpful if you could post the photo that you have on here please.

I will try on the weekend but not looking hopeful after Chris's attempt.

The two photos are taken from the public  Ancestry Family Tree of Sylvia Schofield and I acknowledge her as the source.  They are from St. Mary's Church, Almondsbury

Mary , I have found the tomb and taken some photos. It is in what now appears to be a children's playroom within the church. If you would pm me your email address I will send you the copies.

He must have been very important in the area to have such an impressive tomb
