marraige certificate
« on: Sunday 26 June 05 10:42 BST (UK) »
Can I ask the list for help I have today received another certificate not belonging to my great aunt Margaret Davies of abergele( known as Maggie)
I meet with a second cousin this week who is 99% sure her husbands name was Evens no Christan name known, I found a certificate for 1915 but her father Daniel Davis was not the father on this certificate.

I have her as single in 1901 working at the market vaults and I believe her to be left the country in 1919, is there somewhere else I can look besides the 1837 on line, I have tried the latter day saints site with no luck

Thanks Valerie

Hi valerie,
You could try North Wales BMD or Free BMD:

Hi Valerie,

don't be mislead by names, dates and occupations on marriage certificates.

On my ggfs marriage cert he listed his father as being named Robert, occupation labourer. Nothing of the sort. His father was called Humphrey and was a carpenter.
