The Lincolnshire parish of Eagle (the parish of Swinethorpe and Eagle dates from the 1930s)  should have BMD records going back to the 16th century, but FreeREG doesn't have transcripts before 1812 (although there are several Wells entries after that date.

It may mean a trip to Lincoln to check the register for Eagle covering the 1700s.  The Lincoln archive webpage is : http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/residents/leisure-culture-and-learning/culture/culture-talk-newsletter/the-archives-search-room/116361.article

Hope this helps
