Unfortunately the irregular marriages and quite a few of the North Northumberland non-conformist records are not online yet. If you grind to a halt put up a query asking if someone can do a lookup for you at Woodhorn Archives. There are several friendly folks on here who do offer to look up for those of us who cannot easily get there ourselves. If I see any of your Purves records while I am digging for more Cracketts when I go over for my summer hols I will let you know.

Cheers for that information Craclyn, will follow it up and get more gray hairs. Any information you may come across about the Purves family would be gratefully be accepted, the same for you as well.
When I looked at the names you were searching for, I spotted the family Tait, I have added a attachment so that you could see my only link to the Tait Family. probaly no link but it is amazing how many names you can bump into. :)

Thanks lowanslow. My Tait brick wall is with my great great grandmother Elisabeth Tait from Norham. I donīt want to distract folks from your Purvis issues by going into details about her here, but may open a post about her later.
