What's a "Storehouse"?
« on: Thursday 26 June 14 14:43 BST (UK) »
While looking through various census records I notice on a regular basis properties with the name "Storehouse". Apart from the obvious conclusion that they are just storehouses, why are there people living in them? Are these commercial premises with accommodation, are they some form of almshouses or are they just converted properties who have not had their name changed?

Any ideas will be greatfully received. :)
