Looking for any information on Kervin's from Cork, Ireland that settled in Moncton, NB, Canada around 1823. The Irish Memorial that is erected there in Moncton, has that date and the name Patrick Kervin.

Can't see the earlier Patrick Kervin of whom you speak....but in case there is a connection...

I can see only this "Karvin" family 1851 Moncton/Westmorland
Karvin Thomas age 35 Irish /Labourer date of entry for all but Eliza 1846
Margaret  age 30    Irish ( says she is Sick)
Maria age 14      Patrick age 12      James age 5      Eliza age 3  b. N.B.

This Cornelius "Kerven" was born Ireland turn of the century, living Northumberland N.B. 1861

He had a son Patrick c.1842

JJ, wow, thank you! I will search those names when I get a chance. I have a few names and these sound familiar. So very happy to finally have an alternate spelling to 'Kervin!
Thank you so much! Sincerely, Helen Kervin Melanson.
