Local newspapers covering Haverstock Hill 1921
« on: Friday 27 June 14 08:52 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find whether there is any report of my Grandmother's wedding in a local newspaper from November 1921.

My grandmother Violet Maud Rayson married Reginald Albert Fisher on 5 November 1921 at Holy Trinity church, Haverstock Hill.  I have a photo of the wedding & I am trying to identify who the bridesmaids & page boy were and was hoping that that a newspaper report would have this info.  I think I know who they are, but wanted to confirm this.

Any help would be appreciated, even suggestions of what the local paper would have been.
Fisher, Rayson, Alcock, Davies.

Hi fatfish

Try Camden Local Studies

http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/contacts/council-contacts/libraries/contact-the-camden-local-studies-%26-archives-centre.en

If they can't help, maybe they can point you in the right direction

I've had a response from Camden Studies to say it's most likely the St Pancras Gazette.

They are going to check the microfilm for me next week.  Fingers crossed.
