John has phoned his dad and he said that he know of a Sarah Roden - the Wakeleys lived in Yew Tree farm for 200 years as it was passed down thru the family - sadly it is not there any more - but is you google - Preston Grove trench you will be able to see where the farm was - trench lane is now called trench road where Preston grove is (thats where Johns dad lives since marriage) to the left is some shops (peppers Indian- one stop) that where the farm was - hope this helps  you love Anita x

Hi, I have just come back to ROOTS.
My mother's name was Betsy Wakeley.  She lived at Trench Lock  with her father Sidney, brother of Samson Roden Wakeley who lived at Yew Tree Farm.
Mum used to mention  Johnny Brooks.  Marie, Alison and Violet were her sisters.  Does this show in your tree.
Reuben was my great grandfather.
I have got back to Richard father of Joseph.
Would appreciate any information back from Richard and Sarah.
