George EVANS
« on: Saturday 28 June 14 21:30 BST (UK) »
George EVANS was bap 16 June 1822 in Llandeilo Fawr.
In 1851, he and his wife (Mary Lloyd) were living at Bank, Llandeilo, at which time his occupation was Writer.
He had at least 4 children:-
Walter Lloyd EVANS bap 29 May 1845
Anne EVANS bap 27 Dec 1845
Henry Robert EVANS bap 23 Nov 1849
Mary Frances EVANS bap 25 Mar 1852
all in Llandeilo
There is no trace of the family in 1861 - I understand that the relevant parts of the census are missing.
By 1878, he was living in Talley, where he died in 1883.
Can anyone please tell me where he was in 1871, and when did his wife, Mary, die?
