Walter of Castleton

Hello All,
Looking for any pre-1911 info regarding Walter Armstrong, born 1875 (+/- 1 year) who was born in Castleton.
Keen to know who his parents were etc. Anyone know of this chap?

This is the only one I can see born in Castleton in the 1881 census but in 1891 there are two born Castleton, both living away from home, as servants. One in Castleton as a grocer's apprentice to Henry Millican and one in Selkirk as a farm servant to Charles Scott

In the 1901 census Walter is still with his parents James and Janet on the farm, single. Do you know when your Walter married? was it before 1901? I don't have access to the original image (you need Scotland's people for that) So even though there is a young Mrs Mary Armstrong in the house it doesn't say who she is married too but has her as a servant!

Walter, born 1875, wed a Lucy Marie (nee Knight or Pingstone) in Sep quarter 1902. She was a Wellingboro, Northants girl.
I noticed a Walter Armstrong wed an Elizabeth Bowerbank in Penrith in 1857.

The Walter who was born in 1875 wed a girl in Wellingboro, Northants. He was listed in the 1911 census as a manager, travelling in drapery & clothing.
I think the chap I'm after is is Walter, who lived at Rowanburn in 1901. I say that as the Northants lot had a daughter called Margaret Murray Armstrong. Walter lodged with a Margaret Murray in Rowanburn!
