Photo from dvd
« on: Saturday 05 July 14 19:32 BST (UK) »
;) I recently had all my old 8mm cam-film put to DVD,
the first dvd i played was from 1994, it showed my late mother showing me
an old photo of her brother's and sister's, i must have zoomed right up on the photo as
it fills the tv screen, my cousin who had the old photo died recently and i cant get hold of the old photo to scan.
Is it possible to get copy of the photo other then take photo of tv screen,
i dont know what format was used to convert my old 8mm cam-film to disc.
Sorry if its a daft ask ???
All the best.

Does the dvd play on your pc using one of the usual players?

If yes, then play it, press hold when you get to the photo then do a screen shot. Paste into a photo editing programme then clip back.  Save it as a jpeg.

If it needs any further work, I suggest posting it on the restoration board.
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
