How can I find the Luker family bible?
« on: Sunday 06 July 14 18:28 BST (UK) »
I would like to locate a "Luker" Family Bible. It went missing when there was an auction at my  grandmother's house in London, Ontario (in the 70's).
Where should I look for it? None of our relatives have it.
I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Is the auction house still in  business?
would they have records of who bought it?

Place an ad in a local paper?
Contact local paper and see if they will write up a (human interest) story?
Similar with local radio - they may put out a call?

I have tried your suggestions. Thank you.
Nothing so far but perhaps one of these days.
Ever hopeful,
