William Anderton 1840 - 1907
« on: Thursday 10 July 14 07:32 BST (UK) »
I am researching my Great Grandfather William Anderton, born Preston, Lancashire January 1840.  I have anecdotes that he received various sentences in Preston in 1860, 1861, 1862, 1866 & 1867 when he was transported to Fremantle, Western Australia.  Are there any Court records from that time available on line?
there is anecdotes that he was cohabiting with Margaret Burns at 2 Engine St, Blackburn or 5 Sleddon St, Preston?

Any assistance greatfully accepted please?

Hello,
Where do you have him with Margaret Burns? If he is 22 yrs in 1861 and then transported in 1868, there would be no census records.
Where do those addresses come from?
