Just wanted to update the message on the Resources forum.
Bradford Local Studies Library was re-opened late last year :). It is based on the ground floor of the original Central Library building. They have excellent resources there as well as knowledgeable staff.

A plus point is that the WY archives are in the same place, though booking is advisable.
