Workhouse Records

I have been trying to trace the parents of Mark Viggers, a great grandfather, born 1871 in Banbury, Oxfordshire and who died in 1953 in Thanet, Kent.  It seems that at the age of 11 months he may have been in Banbury Union Workhouse and possibly his brother Charles aged 3.  Looking at the 1881 census they are both registered as sons to Alfred and Mary Turner.  This couple also had a young girl registered as being 'In Care'.  I presume they may have been adopted by the couple.  However, is there any way of researching the workhouse records to find out more information on Mark?

Could they be related to the Viggers family living next door?
This appears to be his birth:

In 1871 Mark's mother is listed as a charwoman.Further down the list is a Mary Viggers aged 32 widow charwoman.
Also on the list are these children:
Jemima Viggers  11
Sarah Ann Viggers  9
Owen Viggers  6
Eliza Viggers  5
Charles Viggers  3
Also on the same page are an Amelia & Sarah Mascord aged 14 & 11 resp.
Amelia Mascord "in care" could be the illegitimate daughter of one of them.
In 1881 Eliza & Sarah Ann are in service together.

In 1861 Mary's married to James Viggers aged 20 a sawyer.
This looks like their marriage:

In 1877 Mary marries Alfred Turner. The children should have been listed as step-sons or sons-in-law in 1881.

Peter Tasker  5
Mary Tasker  2
Father William mother's maiden name possibly Moore.

In 1841 there's this family which looks like James' family:
Warkworth Northants.
James Viggars  45
Esther Viggars  40
John Viggars  20
William Viggars  15
Jamima Viggars  15
Henry Viggars  15
Thomas Viggars  8 (living next door to Mary in 1881)
James Viggars  10 Mo

If the children are right James would have to have died 1868-70.
The only appropriate one with the right age I can see is this one:

Hi my name is Arthur I am also trying to trace a Charles Viggers who lived in Plymouth in 1800 s , he may have been the partner of Amelia Higgman, they had a daughter named Ethel who ended up in care, The name Libretto comes up as being connected somehow, Charles Viggers was convicted of assault,Amelia was my great  great great grandmother, the story in my family is that Charles killed Amelia, but as yet i have found no proof. Anyone out there with any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks
