Locating a burial place
« on: Sunday 27 July 14 10:24 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find where the last resting place is for my friends big brother who died before she was born.  He was only days old and her dad arranged the funeral whilst her mum was still recovering in hospital. It's something her mum won't speak about and something that still isn't discussed.
She has the reference HYD/28A/29 can anyone enlighten me as to what this reference is? Is it a burial plot if so where?
Thanks. Wendy

What area was your friend's brother  living in when he died?

Thanks for that. Is there a way of finding out if he was buried or cremated? It will have been around that time as his mum was still recovering in hospital, and didn't attend his funeral.  :(

I have sent you a message with the contact details of the Registrar at Dukinfield Cemetery.
Tameside have an online records database but it is not working properly at the moment.
