 I am looking for information on the ancesters of Alexander McPhie or McPhee Brown who married Mary Jane Freeburn or Freebairn at Glasgow in 1892
 The 1901 Census shows them living at 7 Marquis Street,Bridgeton, Glasgow 
They had a daughter called Jeannie (Jane) born 1896 in Goven who was my grandmother

According to the census Alexander Brown was born 1871 Glasgow and Mary born 1872 in Ayrshire did their daughter Jeanie go to Canada in 1922 ?

Ancestry has the record for his birth, on 29th August 1870 in Bridgeton, Glasgow.
Parents John Brown and Janet McPhie.

the 1871 census shows
John Brown b. 1832 in Edinburgh, a house joiner,
Janet Brown b. 1836 b. Glasgow
and two older children Duncan (8 ) and John (5) both born in Glasgow.

By 1881 Janet McPhie had died because John and the children are with his new wife Mary (Gibson)

Hi my father Joseph Harris Brown has the address 7 Marquis street Glasgow as his address on his birth certificate born 1942. His parents (my grandparents) were Walter Thom Brown and Jeanie Thomson Harris. My grandads father was Robert Brown who had a brother called John Brown. Also my grandmother is from a Gibson line.
