I have a terribly heart wrenching excerpt about Stanley from a book written by his sister Evelyn Hosken, "Life on a five pound note" I have a screen shot of it but I'm having issues uploading it, sorry. I may just have to transcribe it old school., cheers, Julie, Stanley's great niece

Julie I have read both of the books by Evelyn.  I imagine you are referring to the part when his mother ‘saw him walking down the street and looking happy’ that she began to accept his death.  Like many I imagine it was very hard for her to accept the death of her ‘baby’.
