yes I have taken a few of the watch, cannot get a good one of the Fouchard name but it may be better when I have put the pictures on the lap top. It will be tomorrow at least before I can do that as I need reader and it is with my husband! If I read the item about the Marriage , some of our family lived in the Pleasance (now a venue used by the BBC at festival time) but not the Steel/e family

Hi Orkneytrinidad

Anthony Fouchard is my 3 Grt Grandfather and have just come across this post
My grandmothers maiden name was Fouchard, daughter of William Thomas Fouchard and Mary Jane Wadsworth (Mary Jane I am still looking for)

Always on the lookout for info or anything at all to do with the Fouchard Family, so would also be very interested in a photo of the watch if at all possible

Kind Regards
EddieW

Hi Eddie, I hope you're well.

Wouldn't it be fabulous to see the photo?

Sure would

I take it you haven't heard from OT since may 2015, thought you would have got a photo by now

Have you got anywhere with M J Wadsworth, I have given up on her being from Scotland
Doesn't seem to be a Mary Jane Wadsworth born/registered in Scotland

I am re-looking at the Mary Jane Wadsworth christened at Manchester Cathedral as her father was a waste dealer
No birth date on the record so could have been born 3 or 4 years earlier and somewhere else
Christened with her brother John Alexander 11th July 1858, don't have copy of his record yet

Regards

No, sadly haven't seen the photo yet.  Funnily enough, I remembered this last week but couldn't remember who said they'd send it or how they found me.  Fingers crossed.

Haven't worked on that bit of the family for a long time now.  Perhaps it's time to tae another look.
