Yes, Dan. I have done a YDNA test. However the McKennas (or, as they sometimes called themselves, Kennaugh) are related through my wife's family. My daughter has had her atDNA done but no McKenna matches. My wife's Great Grandmother, Mary Catherine McKenna, is a total mystery except that she was somehow connected to the McKennas of Vernon River, PEI. No luck so far tracing her.

Frank would love to check her kit vs mine and look for anyone that maybe common to both.
We may have a small match as sometimes you don't inherit as much from one parent or grandparent as the other.
My test was with FTDNA, and I am also on Gedmatch.

My daughter has a match (4th cousin to remote cousin) with a Margaret McKenna on FTDNA but no information is provided by the match. The match is 32 cM with an X Match.

Dan: If you want to compare your kit with my daughter's, I would see if she's agreeable, if you wish.
