Serjeant JOHN WAGHORN of 906 MTC ASC lost his life age 23. on the 4 of July 1918 in Palestine. John aka Jack was my Uncle ,my mothers favourite brother. 2 more of her brothers served and survived the war. Jack is buried at Ramley War Cemetry which is now in Israel but was then Palestine and is remembered on the war Memorial at Chilham,Kent .

I live at Cork Farm in Old Wives Lees CT4 8BN which is where John was living when he left for the war. We are putting up a remembrance plaque to him before the 100th. Anniversary of his death. If you are a descendant of his please contact me and I’ll let you ah e further details
