Confused... Murch family

I have traced back my tree to Thomas murch b,1824 I have searched for his parents and by looking at other family trees on ancestry his father is Richard Murch 1791-1861 the confusion is Richard was married to Elizabeth loyd  in 1835 and a Sarah Bryant nee carter in 1822 Sarah has12 children susannah 1816,jane1814,Mary,1811,ann1810,Elizabeth 1807, john1806, Sarah 1818, joseph1820 William 1822,George 1824 (the same year Thomas murch was born) Henry 1827 & Elizabeth 1829
I can find a baptism for George mother Sarah father samuel Bryant.... I cannot find a marriage for Richard & Sarah although a family tree shows them as being married In bristol 1822

Many of us on this forum would caution you about the trees you find on other websites. They can contain info that is not correct and should be viewed with the proverbial grain of salt.

Assuming Thomas married, the certificate should give you his father's name.

I agree, do not use online trees as a source of info!

Did your Thomas marry? If so where and when? Have you found him on later censuses? If so, where and when did he say he was born?

can you put up details of  someone you are sure about - census, marriage, children etc  and we can work back from there

Thankyou, it seems the sensible option to ignore other trees as they just confuse me!! (Which isn't hard  ;) )
I have Thomas on the 1841 census age 15 in bristol mother Elizabeth and father Richard, siblings jane and Mary both age 10 and also susannah Bryant age 25 and Wilson & George both age 15

od so Thomas moved to Birmingham and married sarah woodhall. is this correct?

well his marriage gives his father as Richard so that is half way there straight away
. possible baptism in Bristol in 1828:

Thomas Murch bp 4 May 1828 Bristol, Glousester son of Richard & Sarah Murch

also baptised same place and date to same parents are :

William and jane

but cant see the baptism of rest of family????
