The Rectory of Aberedw during World War One.

Hi everyone ,
Can anyone tell me anything regarding who was Rector at Aberedw during WW1.

I am also seeking information regarding a young South African lady who lived there during this time
Her name was Miss Alice Elizabeth Wronsky.
Also known as Wronsley

Any help will be mightily appreciated.

The rector of Aberedw was Rev J  H Lloyd.
If you go to the Welsh Newspapers Online at NLW and use the search term "Wronsky" you will find a few snippets including the death of her brother in action.

Interestingly,there is a record for a W H Lloyd Wronsky aged 28,arriving in England from South Africa in 1919.

Miss Alice Elizabeth Wronsley is listed as a passenger (teacher aged 34) heading to South Africa in April 1926.  Her last address in the UK is Glanmor House, Sketty, Swansea.
A registration of probates for the death of the Rev James Hughes Lloyd - Feb 14th 1924 - lists the person to who the document was submitted as James Price Lloyd, schoolmaster, of Glanmor House, Sketty, Swansea.
James Price Lloyd (Rev JH Lloyds son) was born in 1891.

WH Wronsky was her brother - William Henry Wronsky. His daughter was disabled and Alice returned to Wales after the little girls death. Alice took care of her in South Africa. Alice and her brothers, William Henry and Julius Wronsky, who was KIA in Arras France in 1919, were among the very first pupils at the prestigious St Andrews College in Grahamstown South Africa. Alice earned a degree in teaching at Rhodes University in Grahamstown after completing her schooling.
