Could anyone please tell me where Lambert Institution, Caldwell House & Lennox Castle are?
Also what kind of institutions these places were around 1910 - 1940?

Thank You

Lennox castle was used as a hospital for a long period http://strathkelvin.members.beeb.net/lennox_castle.htm has a history of the place.
It still is a hospital unit although for a long period it was used as a long term institute for the mentally disabled.

Caldwell House is currently in East Renfrewshire
Quote
Caldwell House
In 1713 Baron Mure of Caldwell commissioned Robert Adam to design a grand home for him. He was M.P. for Renfrewshire, Baron of Exchequer in Scotland and had been Lord rector of Glasgow University. Baron Mure was an “improving landlord” and was responsible for planting many trees in the area.
An original Caldwell House had belonged to William Mure, a defeated Covenanter, who died in Holland in 1690 and whose estates were conferred on General Tam Dalziel of Binns under whom the house became a ruin.
After the restoration of their property, the Mures remained in Caldwell House until 1909. In 1920 the House was sold to Glasgow Corporation and became a hospital for mentally handicapped children until 1985.
