does any one know how to obtain copy of death certificate from Perth area of Aussie? information I have is that only next of kin can order one on producing two forms of identity.

I am not sure what the requirements are for ordering certificates in WA but his might help:
http://www.sro.wa.gov.au/archive-collection/collection/births-deaths-and-marriages

I expect, as is the case in other States, it might depend on when the death occurred, and there might be restrictions on more recent deaths.

The link below has information about applying for a copy of a West Australian death certificate. As the death was less than 30 years ago there are eligibility requirements.

The death application is open for anyone .. if the death is over 30 years ago (in WA) .. so your out of luck, unless you meat their requirements.

If you are a relative you should be able to contact the next of kin ... and get the information you want that way. You should contact them anyway to get the family history they know.
