Stone Mason
« on: Wednesday 27 August 14 18:02 BST (UK) »
The family I am researching have nearly all turned out to be Mason, sometimes Stone Cutter or Marble Polisher I was wondering if they would have been on some sort of register or apprentice form, would their names be held at The Worshipful Company of Masons , they all worked in the City of London an one worked at St Paul's

Did you manage to find any more info about Mason's Apprenticeships at all, AddictSE7?

I ask because my G/Grandfather William Wilson was apparantly a Mason in Lancashire for the same time period, but I've been unable to find anything about possible Apprenticeships.

Romilly.
