1881 - where the devil are they

It must be 10 years, but it seems like forever --
And I have already asked on here previously... but cant find the link.

I have missing people in the 1881 that are hidden extremely well - I hoped if I could find one then I could find the others.

Ok.

details (forgive me if you are as fed up as me for looking for these   )

Parents are Thomas Clarke bn 1830 Shenton Leics
                 Sarah nee Yorke bn 1841 Shenton.
they married in 1866 I have the cert.

Now I have them in 1871  RG10/3236 living in Hydes Pasture with Mother in law and 2 children
Elizabeth and Thomas plus Ada who it says is a servant from Burton Hastings.
Then the 1881 all I can find is RG11/3132 with parents working as farm hands/servant at Wykin Home Farm.
So looking for Alice Clarke born 1875  and her sister Eliza born 1873.  Thomas jnr born 1871 and possibly Walter George born 1877 who died in 1884. His death states they were in BARWELL at that time.. So maybe the children were in Barwell or all the family actually lived in Barwell and Mom and Dad where at the Farm when the census was taken...

I am just going to go through 2nd pages of the ones I have above and other areas in Barwell ... fingers crossed. Yet again.. otherwise I give up   .... there is a census in 1881 of a London School with an Elizabeth and an Alice of Unknown birthplace -- they are the correct ages ?? down as inmates..... Forgot to save it!!!!!!!! will find it again just in case.
I have the relevant birth certs stating that these children existed and are the children of Thomas and Sarah as above.....

Have you checked the 1891 address which looks like Brockey Lane in 1881 to see if they were living there?

Or maybe check some of the neighbours from 1871/1891 to see if they have disappeared or are at the same address.

Can't see why the girls would be inmates at a London school but you never know!

Yes checked  both of those

up and down the census etc like crazy

I can only think now that they were being looked after somewhere and whoever had them, didnt include them on the census. 
The eldest girl Sarah Elizabeth born 1867 - was probably in charge and not sure what to do.. maybe ................................

If I have the right Walter Clarke, there is a baptism for him

Walter George Clarke
Birth Date: 10 Sep 1877
Baptism Date: 6 Jul 1879

Baptism Place:  Attleborough, Warwick,

Father: Thomas Clarke   
Mother: Sarah 

According to the record, father is a labourer and they are living at George street, Attleborough.
A lot of Walter Clarke's born 1877 so it could be the wrong family.

Who was the informant of Walters death? Was there an address of death and of the informant or did it just state Barwell?

thanks for that appreciate it but am afraid - That is not my Walter I have his birth and death cert.
He was born Hydes Pasture Hinckley.

Heywood    both Arthur and Walter died very young 1884 and 1883 and the informant on both was Sarah their mother living in Barwell - No address sorry.

(as a by the way Alice goes on to marry a Haywood )

The family lived in the areas of Barwell and Shenton/Hydes Park  most of their lives.  The children were all born in the vacinity.

However ---- the County changes --- at one point Hydes Park Shenton is in Warwickshire and then later on in Leicestershire.
So that Alice Clarke born 1875 her birth cert states - Hydes pasture Hinckley - Warwick... yet she adds Nuneaton to her birth place on census rtns.  These borders are all very close and Hydes pasture is just off the A5 near the big roundabout that leads to Nuneaton, Hinckley etc....

Sarah Elizabeth born 1867 her birth cert states Hydes pasture Hinckley Leicestershire..................... crazy

here you are:  I dont have the birth cert for Eliza she was born 1873 Hydes pasture. (better get it later )

There is also a .n.other son born 1889  and a.nother that I have yet to find.
