1766 kiddington and 1809 wootton marriage look ups please

Hi there could somebody please lookup the following marriages they are both of my 6th great grandfather Richard tennant the first one was with my 6th great nan mary west on 18 june 1786 at kiddington, she died around 1809 in spelsbury and he remarried at wootton on 20 November 1809 to mary Haynes, can someone please check both of these and let me know if any other information is given such as witnesses etc, thanks in advance

I have just had a look at Kiddington PR's for St Nicholas Church, in there it says;

Marriage 18 June 1786 between Richard Tennant of Spelsbury and Mary West otp. Wits; Sarah Floyd and Sarah West.

I also see the baptism of Mary West d o John and Sarah West on 5 Jan 1766 again at St Nicholas.

I can also see the baptisms of other children to John and Sarah.

In burials it shows at least 8 who are of the same family, significantly of which are John West on  13 May 1760 and another John West on 7 May 1798

There is a Sarah West - Widow burial on 7 Jan 1799

In the PR's here the marriage entry is there on 20 Nov 1809 and the wits; Hannah Spittle & Joseph White, no other info other than it says he was from Spelsbury and she from Wootton

Richard Tennant baptised 24 Feb 1760  s o John and Rose of Taston

John and Rose had at least 7 children

John and Rose were married at All Saints on 4 May 1755 after banns. Her maiden name was BLACKWELL.

The wits were; John Tennant & Charles Maunder.

Sorry for the late response but thankyou so much for finding those for me! shame about the lack of Oxfordshire parish records online makes it so difficult to trace this part of my family. Can you find a burial in spelsbury for mary tennant around 1809 or just before at all please?
Also is there a marriage for mary wests parents john and sarah pre 1760? regards and thanks again I really appreciate it

The marriage of John West to Sarah is a bit intriguing.
The only one that fits from within the Oxfordshire Family History Marriage Index is that of John West of Priors Marston, Warwickshire to Sarah Hawkes of Coomb, Oxfordshire which took place by license on 1 Apr 1754 at St Laurence Church Coomb. It says she was from the parish but there isn't an entry of a baptism for her.

It looks like she was not originally from Coomb and he seems to have certainly come from Prioprs Marston.

If you inquire by e mail the Oxford Record Office may have a copy of the license and you could see what it says?

Thank You so much for all this info, its all fitting together nicely, I will defiantly look more into that sounds interesting.
I have two more requests as you seem to be so quick and helpful and you seem to have parish records for spelsbury.
I did visit the village about 2 years ago and found the headstone at Spelsbury church of my seventh great grandparents John and Rose Tennant, I couldn't read the dates of deaths though it seemed like Johns was 1803 but unclear and I believe it seemed Rose died after him, if you don't mind can you see if you have a burial for these two please? Thanks again im so grateful
