Can anyone help please?

Isaac's photo is all grainy, it has suffered with age just like me.

Please can you do your magic?

Jim

Hi Jim

Did you have to compress the file to get it under the limit as it seems a bit blocky when zoomed up close.

If you have the original and can rescan with no compression then resize it this way

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=372537.0

we may be able to get a decent restore.

If you have problems pm me and I will give you my e mail addy

I'll get a copy of the original. May take a few hours as I need somebody to read their emails. Bear with me.

I will be very surprised if it makes any difference...the emulsion on the surface of the photo is heavily crazed like cracked leather.

Well we wont know until we try...and I'd like to give it a try .  A scan of 300dpi is always better then one of 72dpi as more finer details can be seen. Worth a shot anyway.

This is the original.

My cousin sent it to me but I'm getting the message 'read only' on Windows live photoshop. Let me know if there is a problem.

Just in case the previous is read only, I've printed and rescanned it.
