There is a 3 month old Lorne Robert Turner crossing from the US to Ontario in July 1928 but his parents are noted as Mr and Mrs Lorne (middle initial unreadable)Turner 27 Eden Place Toronto
He was born in Brooklyn.
When was your father born? Do you have your parents marriage certificate.  I am presuming they have died as we are not allowed to post the names of living people.

There is a tree on ancestry with a Robert Lorne Turner born 1939 so another candidate.

Thanks for the reply..

To be honest I have no information on his birth, death, or marriage except that he married my mother in either 1956 or 1957, the year I was born. The dates you have provided sound interesting...

Thanks kindly

Lorne

I have a Verna Tingman in my wife's genealogy, don't have a husband for her but I can tell you that her parents were James Havelock Tingman and Florence Mary Ryan.  It is through the Ryan family, then O'Donnell, then Campbell, then Darmody where the connection lies.  Verna has 5 brother and sisters.
If this is the family you are searching ?
