Hi and welcome to rootschat ;D

There is no cost in asking a question so people can help you , a surname and a place really doesn't help people help you, so maybe you would like to add what you are wanting to know, rather than making guesses...so you are looking in Cork, so maybe full name , date and what you would like to know :)

We don't research living relatives , we help  research records of ancestors.

If you are just looking for surnames of living relations  then you are best to check the phone book, electoral rolls and make contact with everyone of that surname, although they are not all going to be related

If you haven't already done so, a good way to make surname connections with other members is to enter your surname interests in the Surname Interests Table (SIT), and to check there whether others are researching these names.

This can be found at http://surname.rootschat.com/ , there is a link to it under "Your Tools" at the bottom of each Rootschat page.

The more people who enter their surnames, the more chance there will be of making a connection!
