Robert Gotts

Hi!
    Does anyone have any information on the following?

I have a Robert Gotts born 0ctober 15th 1877 (sometimes given as 1876) at West Hartlepool, Durham, England, son of Henry Gotts and his wife Elizabeth Martindale.

I believe Robert was a Royal Navy Reservist at some point (Service Number ES 4118), and that he possibly died in 1925 in Australia (New South Wales?). Don't know if there was an inquest or not into his death, and he may have also been a Mining Engineer?

Robert had two brothers, William Henry and Charles, and also two sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Margaret.

Any help much appreciated!
