Domestic Science Boarding School Moate Westmeath
« on: Sunday 07 September 14 18:14 BST (UK) »
Hi, I'm trying to find some information about a domestic science boarding school in Moate run by the Sisters of Mercy.  My Mum went there in the 1930s and I think it was called St Mary's.  It may have been demolished but if anyone has any memories or records of it, I'd be really grateful to know a bit more.  Many thanks, Christina

Hi Rosie,

Have tried Google but with no luck.  All a bit confusing, seem to be several different schools/convents in the town with various name changes over the years :(
