Isaac josling
« on: Monday 08 September 14 13:34 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,
I am trying to find information regarding a relative called Isaac josling.
His estimated birth was 1808 in whitechapel, Middlesex .
His death was 1848.
It has been a rumour for years that he was in the scotsguards but this has so far proved to be nothing more than hear say.
Any help would be gratefully received .
Many thanks
Jacqui

When Isaac died in 1848 and Roseanne , one of his daughters went to the work house then where did his widow and all the other children go ?
Did they all end up in the work house ?
How awful x

My relative is his younger daughter Harriet Isabella .

Is she the one who marries a Joseph Clifton? In later censuses after her marriage she seems to repeatedly give her place of birth as "Tower of London"
