Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Do you know their addresses at the time they died as that could determine where they are buried?

The Birkenhead Registration district covered a number of areas and there are 2 possibilities - Landican and Flaybrick

http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/birkenhead.html

James & Emma had another daughter in 1924 who married in 1945 and had a son b 1946.  Is that son still alive?  Does he have any info re: burials?

Hi dustiedoo

I would contact the team at Wirral Council and ask if they can help but you may need actual dates of death not just the registration quarters from the GRO index

http://www.wirral.gov.uk/my-services/community-and-living/deaths-cemeteries-and-crematoria

They may tell you that their records have been moved to Wirral Archives though

More information here

From the death dates, I would say Landican.  Flaybrick was full and only accepted those that had space in family plots. They might have been cremated though and that would be Landican also.

My best mate lives in Clee Hill road!
